Ebony wood 'Tree of life" Abstract

Hand carved from the tree bark of the ebony wood, this piece has exquisite workmanship. The tree of life has several interlaced human figures each one connected with the other showing support for each other. It was made in Tanzania by the "Makonde" tribe. Their abstracts are also known as " Makonde carvings".
