The Zulus came to prominence under their most famous king, Shaka. A military genius who built his small chiefdom into a great nation in the early 19^th century.

In Zulu culture, married women wear disc like headdresses and colorful ear plugs in their stretched ear lobes, thereby denoting their status and the region from which they come. Music and dancing have always played an important role in Zulu tradition and rituals. Beadwork, pottery and weaving are their artistic passions.

We will include a complimentary hand made kraal (homestead) with each purchase as shown. Each doll is unique and will be taken off the site on purchase.
