The Swazi language is very similar to the Nguni dialect of the Zulu. They are an easy going nation and more than often you will find the humorous personalities amongst them. Certainly a fun and beautiful country to visit.

Young women, preparing for their weddings, often wear black hairnets while growing their hair. Traditionally marriage is only permitted on payment of a dowry, known as “lobola”. Normally this is in the form of cattle, given to the parents of the bride by the groom. Swazi crafts are renowned for their magnificent baskets and weaving, and mohair blankets.
